The Whitney Biennial is kicking  things off this week, featuring (among quite a few others) past  interviewees George  Condo, Pae  White, James  Casebere, Josephine  Meckseper, but there’s always more to do! This Thursday in Chelsea,  painters Joe  Bradley and Chris  Martin are opening their two-person show at Mitchell-Innes  & Nash. TONIGHT at 7pm the New  York Public Library, Andre  Aciman and Paul Lee in conversation. If you happen to be in Berlin,  perhaps you caught Stellan Skarsgård’s  performance as a world-weary ex-con in the film A Somewhat Gentle  Man at the Berlin  International Film Festival. Have you been watching the Syfy  channel’s new series Caprica? Eric Stoltz plays  a robot-inventing mad scientist. Finally! Tickets are now on sale for  the Wooster Group production of North  Atlantic, thanks in part to the company’s artistic director Elizabeth LeCompte,  in New York City March 10 – April 25.(via BOMBLog)
